Reporting to the Director of Consulting, and operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Solutions Architect has diverse responsibilities that require strong leadership, deep technology skills, and a dedication to customer service.
This person will work with a team and/or individually to design and implement solutions, and/or participate in smaller client deliverables such as audits/reviews, or focused problem resolution engagement, using conventional or Agile methodologies.
This person must possess the ability to portray strong leadership skills, both directly and indirectly, as well as have deep technical knowledge combined with the ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly, work alone or with a team contributing in a technical and or leadership capacity - on-site or remotely.
This role has a regional focus and such additional responsibility and impact are expected. Acting with relative autonomy and in collaboration with other regional leaders, the person in this position will be expected to provide a regional perspective on how to best address the needs of our customers and to grow our business regionally.
In this role, reasonable travel will be expected not to exceed 50%.
This is a Australia based opportunity. Regular travel is expected. Its preferred that the candidate live in Melbourne, Sydney or Auckland.
Success as a Solution Architect (SA) is measured through customer satisfaction and technical mastery, which lead to additional and deeper engagements with our clients. Through a collaborative approach comprising of self-study methods, and interaction with our customers, as well as our internal teams, the SA will be able to make informed recommendations that align to customers’ plans and business drivers. The SA should demonstrate a strong capacity for thought leadership in their engagements with (current and prospective) clients. Furthermore, when the need arises, the SA should be able to demonstrate adoption of new technologies and frameworks through the development of proofs of concepts.
The applicant will likely have at least 10 years experience in a variety of positions in IT. The position requires specialized knowledge and experience in performing the following:
Undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related field or relevant experience.
