    At Pythian, we’re looking for a successful Cloud Transformation Sales Account Executive to join our North American sales team who has experience in hunting for new business, developing relationships with C and VP-level executives, and who has a history of selling disruptive products and services. Pythian provides services around data management and data infrastructure, across multiple database technologies, platforms (cloud and on-prem). Pythian has also been providing cloud analytics services for the last five years.

    What do we need from you?

    While we understand you might not have everything on the list, to be successful you are likely to have skills such as:

    • Strong experience and proven track record of sales success in an information technology consulting or professional services sector with a strong emphasis on hunting for new business coupled with a desire to help clients solve difficult business problems with technology.
    • Experience in selling cloud technologies and services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Cloud certifications are an asset.
    • Experience with data infrastructure, managed services, Big Data/NoSQL is a plus.
    • Salesforce or other CRM tool experience is a basic requirement.
    • Be a self-starter and a market maker.
    • Can you engage an entire room full of people?
    • Do you get thrills finding new prospects?
    • Do you see beyond the surface and tailor situations to the needs, objectives and demands of clients?
    • Do you shine in an entrepreneurial environment?
